From this week, it will be possible to supply multiple auction groups on one auction trolley. This adjustment will be of benefit to transporters and means that fewer logistic supplies are needed for transport. This can, in turn, bring down transport costs.

If you would like to transport multiple auction groups on one load carrier, why not take a look at the guidelines for lettering load carriers.
For which locations is this possible?
Supplying multiple auction groups on one load carrier is only possible at locations where order picking has already been introduced. It is possible at Naaldwijk (flowers), Rijnsburg (flowers + plants) and Eelde (flowers + plants). It is not yet possible in Aalsmeer.
How can you make use of this?
The product groups that have changed to order picking, namely Rijnsburg (complete), Naaldwijk (flowers), and Aalsmeer (some auction groups), can be supplied in a new way. Make sure you only put products together that can be stored in the same refrigeration conditions. When supplying multiple auction groups on a trolley, it is important to adhere to the ‘multiple lots on a trolley’ conditions of supply, also known as lot-lettering. This prevents errors with respect to buyers. Lettering flower and plant packaging and boxes means we can make clear to which lot a particular product belongs. This will allow for even more than 5 lots on one load carrier.
