Van Zanten Breeding strengthens with the divestment of Freesia the focus on its strategic crops for the cut flowers and pot and garden plants market, the company states.
On July 12th 2024 Van Den Bos acquired both the breeding activities and intellectual property of the Freesia assortment from Van Zanten Breeding. With this step, Van Den Bos aims to strengthen its Freesia activities and the future for their Freesia business. Likewise, Van Zanten Breeding seeks to strengthen its focus on its strategic crops.
