During the first week of February alone, nearly 400 kg of bouquets passed through the Krasnodar customs. According to the Krasnodar Customs press service, mimosa is being transported to various regions of Russia, both in commercial quantities and small bouquets for personal use, requiring special transportation conditions to preserve their delicate appearance.
Compared to the same period last year, Russia received nearly a ton more mimosa from Abkhazia during February 1-16.

The initial shipment passed through the customs of the Krasnodar region well ahead of schedule, whereas, in previous years, the first deliveries typically occurred in mid-February.
Hermetically sealed bouquets are transported at low temperatures, with customs checkpoints expediting the inspection process for such deliveries. Last year, Russia received 200 tons of flowers from Abkhazia, while this year, 15,765 kg of Abkhazian mimosa have already entered the country since the beginning of February.
