Introducing the new mid-early Danique series, following the recently presented early Dania series, sets a new standard in these Primula segments.
Dania is a lovely, uniform series that needs less cold than similar series, making it ideal for the early November-February market. Its natural compactness means fewer growth regulators are required, a critical sustainable feature in this day and age. The superior seed quality provides excellent germination.
That results in robust, tight plants with beautifully shaped, brightly colored flowers. They are perfect for packs and 9 to 10.5 cm pots. The beautiful flowers are a real eye-catcher in stores. The series comprises eight colors and is available as a mix.
Danique carries the excellent genetic qualities of the Danova series, raising the bar to a new quality standard. This series’s genetic compactness and less need for growth regulators are key features. It was developed to bloom from December to February, thus ideally suited to the mid-early segment.
Danique was designed to meet all future market requirements and has excellent characteristics across the board, including seed quality and germination. The bright, beautifully formed flowers grow on compact, vigorous plants. These, too, are perfect for packs and 9-10.5 cm pots. This series consists of nine colors and is also available as a mix.
Primula Open Day February 8
The Dutch nursery Schneider Youngplants presents the new Sakata genetics Dania and Danique in a flowering trial at Greenhats Heimatliebe in Germany. Schneider Youngplants will hold an open day to show the public the new uniform, compact Primula series.
All growers and retailers are welcome to visit the trial on February 8 from 9:00 to 16:00 (register before February 5 via [email protected]). It is also an excellent opportunity to network and seek cultivation advice from the supplier.
