Turnover increase 11%
Around noon on the first day, on February 6, it became clear that buyers had confidence in the coming spring. While the start last year was somewhat cautious, the figures now show a much more positive picture. Even though the build-up to the second day was quieter, sales remained good. Groen-Direkt closed the fair with a turnover increase of more than 11%.

Trade platform for garden plants Groen-Direkt marks the start of spring with a big plus. The Spring Fair, which was held last week in Hazerswoude Dorp, The Netherlands was well-attended and had approximately 5,000 sample lots. According to the organization, garden centers and wholesalers from all over Europe “enthusiastically” made purchases via the digital ordering app.

Groen-Direkt
Being one of the largest marketplaces for garden plants in Europe, Groen-Direkt has brought supply and demand together for over 25 years. The combination of 30 sample fairs per year and a webshop with current sample photos means garden plants can be purchased from Groen-Direkt all year round. To achieve this, Groen-Direkt works closely with 500 growers in the Boskoop region in the Netherlands and beyond. Since 2022, Groen-Direkt has been part of Green Retail Events, the trade fair organizer of the Plantarium|Groen-Direkt fair on February 6 and 7, 2024.
